WHITT Monica

Monica Whitt joins Stange Law Firm, PC, in our Springfield, Missouri office as a Senior Associate Attorney. She has a history of helping families during challenging times, having worked with the Division of Children for nine years and later serving as both a parent attorney and a guardian ad litem in the Greene County Juvenile Court. Before this role, she worked with Legal Aid in Illinois, providing family law services, including divorce, child custody, child support, and paternity cases.

Monica graduated from the Washington University School of Law in 2003 and Missouri State University in 1997. She is originally from a rural area in southern Illinois but moved to southwest Missouri during elementary school. After college, Monica spent a brief time in Washington, D.C., before returning to Missouri for her law studies, where she graduated in the top 20% of her class.

Monica is a Certified Senior Attorney in divorce and family law. Since 1997, the status of Certified Senior Attorney has been awarded to attorneys with appropriate professional experience and an impeccable record.

Monica enjoys reading, staying informed about current events, and spending time with friends and family. She particularly loves participating with her daughter in an inclusive arts program in Springfield, Missouri, called Art Inspired Academy, which provides opportunities in the arts for people of all ages and abilities.
