Joel studied at the Saint Louis University School of Law, where he earned his Juris Doctor degree and also received a dean’s scholarship. Before earning his law degree, he attended Missouri Baptist University, where he earned his Bachelor of Applied Science degree. Joel is currently licensed and ready to help clients in the state of Missouri.

Joel is a licensed divorce and family law attorney. Since 1997, licensed attorneys have been granted this designation after demonstrating appropriate professional experience and an impeccable record.

Before joining the Stange Law Firm in Franklin County, Joel started his legal career by supporting litigation through E-Discovery. Contracted to work on a task basis alongside lead attorneys on various projects, he would comb through vast discovery databases to find sensitive information that could help or harm a case. The cases he worked on ranged from civil contract claims to multidistrict litigation involving the opioid crisis. In 2021, Joel became a public defender. In this role, he fought hard for clients who could not afford their own attorneys in the state of Missouri. He later joined a law firm in St. Louis that litigated civil cases and gained significant courtroom experience defending all the needs of his clients.

When Joel is not busy helping his clients, he enjoys spending his free time with his wife at local wineries and watching sporting events and his favorite TV shows. He also enjoys playing volleyball in a league every week.
