Chuk studied law and earned his Juris Doctor from the Appalachian School of Law in Grundy, Virginia. During law school, Chuk ranked in the top 5% of his class and received the Thomas F. Blackwell Scholarship. He also served as the Associate Editor of the Appalachian Law Journal in 2020. Before studying law, Chuk earned his Master’s degree in Public Administration with a specialization in nonprofit/public/organizational management from North Carolina Central University. There, Chuk graduated Summa Cum Laude and received the Moss-Wigfall Graduate Award. He was also a member and treasurer of the Phi Alpha Alpha Honors Society. Chuk holds a Bachelor’s degree in Family and Child Studies with a certification in Child Advocacy from Montclair State University.

Chuk was named a Rising Stars Honoree by Illinois Super Lawyers magazine for 2024, an honor awarded to no more than 2.5% of attorneys in the state.

Before becoming an associate attorney with the McLean County divorce attorneys at Stange Law Firm, Chuk spent two months as a legal assistant with the firm. He also has experience advocating for youth in areas such as early childhood education, criminal justice, behavioral health, substance abuse, and family dynamics, having worked as a social worker for organizations focused on community outreach and housing support for youth. Additionally, he has experience leveraging legal services for low-income individuals with health issues.
