Danielle Lawton is an associate attorney at Stange Law Firm, PC. She can assist individuals throughout Jackson County, Missouri, and nearby areas from the firm's Kansas City family law office.

Danielle attended Washburn University School of Law in Topeka, Kansas, where she earned her Juris Doctor in May 2023. Before studying law, she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, with a concentration in Criminal Justice and Criminology, in December 2019 at Northwest Missouri State University. During her undergraduate studies, Danielle was named to the Dean’s List for five semesters and served as President, Secretary, and Vice President of the NWMSU Mock Trial Team. She was also the Secretary of the Pre-Law Society and a member of the Sigma Society Service Sorority. Danielle is currently licensed and ready to assist clients in the state of Missouri.

Before joining the Kansas City family law attorneys at Stange Law Firm, PC, Danielle recently worked as an intern at the Johnson County Juvenile Court in Olathe, Kansas, where her duties included facilitating juvenile court hearings by assisting court volunteers with preparation. Danielle also interned at the Washburn Law Clinic, where she gained experience conducting client interviews and counseling sessions, keeping clients informed about court proceedings, drafting ICWA notices, and filing paperwork. She also gained courtroom experience by appearing at an adoption hearing. Previously, Danielle interned for Kansas Legal Services, where she assisted the Pro Bono Services Director with expungement research, drafted expungement motions for the annual Expungement Day, and contacted clients regarding the process and requirements for expungement. Danielle also held various other positions throughout her legal training, gaining valuable legal experience and skills.

Outside of her legal work, Danielle enjoys reading a good book and traveling to discover new places. She also loves playing with and spending time with her Aussiedoodle, Bruno.
