EWICK Thomas

Thomas Ewick is a compassionate senior associate attorney at Stange Law Firm. Thomas earned his Juris Doctor from Indiana University School of Law in May 2002. During law school, he served as a note editor for the Indiana Law Review and was on the Dean's List for three semesters. Before earning his law degree, Thomas received his Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Indiana State University in May 1998. During his undergraduate studies, he was on the Dean's List for six semesters, a member of the Golden Key National Honor Society, and a recipient of the R. Christopher Perry Memorial Pre-Law Award. Thomas is currently licensed to assist clients in the state of Illinois.

Before joining the Springfield, Illinois office of Stange Law Firm, Thomas most recently worked for the Illinois Attorney General’s Office as an Assistant Attorney General and later as a Deputy Unit Supervisor. His responsibilities included supervising Assistant Attorneys General in the Civil Trials Unit of the General Law Bureau, representing state agencies and employees in state and federal courts and in proceedings before the Illinois Civil Service Commission, the State Police Merit Board, and the Illinois Human Rights Commission. He also drafted and filed responses to complaints, pleadings, motions, and legal briefs, responded to discovery requests, and tried cases before judges and juries. In total, Thomas brings over 20 years of legal experience as an attorney to his role at Stange Law Firm, and he looks forward to using this experience to help his clients rebuild their lives.
