Presentation
I am Andorran of French origin. I was born in 1970, and I have very clear ideas and a strong ethical sense of my profession. When I understood what fundamental rights were, I decided from a young age that I wanted to pursue law studies. Since then, I have worked towards achieving this goal. During my studies at the University of Bordeaux, France, I followed the courses for a Bachelor's degree in Private Law, a Master's degree in Business Law, and a Master's degree in Private Law and Legal Careers, while also completing the Certificate in Criminal Sciences. I also undertook the year of training for the Certificate in European Studies and European Institutions. I pursued further postgraduate studies through the Advanced Studies Diploma (DEA) in Private Law. I prepared for admission to the Center for Professional Lawyer Training (CFPA) in France. Later, I participated in additional professional training organized by the Bar Association in areas such as private and medico-legal expertise, evidence, money laundering, family law, advocacy, etc. I speak and write Catalan, Spanish, French, and English.
I have a very broad education. I believe it is essential to stay updated, continue acquiring knowledge, and practice law.
Given the size of the country, I don’t think it’s truly possible for a law firm in Andorra to specialize in just one field. Over the years, I have specialized in various branches of law. I am eager to continue working and expanding my range of activities. That’s why I handle cases of all kinds with the utmost professionalism. In this sense, being part of a firm with other lawyers is a plus, as it allows us to share knowledge and opinions.
I was a member of the Management Board of the Andorran Bar Association from 2006 to 2013, successively as a member, treasurer, and secretary. From January 2017 to January 2020, I was the Dean of the Andorran Bar Association, also serving as the president of all the qualified professional associations of the Principality (Council of Professional Associations), representing the business sector of the Principality in the University Council of the University of Andorra. I had the opportunity to represent the Andorran Bar Association at the national and international levels. Among other interventions, I attended several committees and assemblies of the CCBE.
I continue to hold the position of president of the Council of Professional Associations. I am deeply involved in defending the rights of citizens and users of justice, as well as professionals in general.
In addition to the judicial and extrajudicial work of lawyers, I have been involved in drafting laws and regulations, conducting training sessions, and teaching.
I believe that a relationship of trust with the client is essential for a lawyer to successfully carry out their work.
