From there, she worked for a firm in St. Louis, Missouri, representing clients again in family-based immigration matters. She made daily admission calls, attended client interviews in various states, and prepared and filed mandamus petitions.

Outside of her legal practice, Laura enjoys alpine skiing, water skiing, and rollerblading. She currently coaches a youth alpine ski team at Hidden Valley Ski Resort in Eureka, Missouri.
