MONACO WARREN Ann

Ann Monaco Warren was born in Jefferson City, Missouri, in December 1959. She was admitted to the Texas Bar in 1985, the Missouri Bar in 1992, and the Oklahoma Bar in 1992. She was admitted to the U.S. District Court, Eastern District of Texas, in 1986, the U.S. District Court, Western District of Oklahoma, in 1992, and the U.S. District Court, Western District of Missouri, in 1993. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in 1982 from St. Mary’s College in Notre Dame, Indiana, and her Juris Doctor in 1985 from St. Mary’s University School of Law in San Antonio, Texas. Notably, she achieved Phi Alpha Delta; co-authored: “Various Chapters Related to Consumer and Bankruptcy Issues,” University of Texas School of Law Seventh Annual Bankruptcy Conference Manual, 1988; authored “Regulation of Insurance in Missouri,” Missouri Insurance Practice Manual, 4th and 5th editions, 1994 and 2000; served as Deputy General Counsel for the Oklahoma Department of Insurance from 1992 to 1993; law clerk for the Honorable C. Houston Abel, U.S. Chief Bankruptcy Judge for the Eastern District of Texas, from 1988 to 1991; and Assistant Prosecutor for Smith County, Texas, from 1985 to 1988. She is a member of the Missouri Bar, Missouri Bar Insurance Committee (Chair of the Insurance Committee from 2002 to 2003); Cole County Bar (Secretary/Treasurer in 1998, Vice President in 1999, President in 2000); Oklahoma Bar; Texas State Bar; Federation of Regulatory Counsel; and former President of the Mid-Missouri Claims Association. Ms. Warren serves as General Counsel for the Surplus Lines Association of Missouri. She specializes in insurance regulatory law, corporate and business law, and estate planning.
