Evelyn Pabon was born in Puerto Rico, where she attended school, including undergraduate college and law school. In January 2005, she moved to Florida and has made Central Florida her home since then.In 2004, Evelyn earned her Juris Doctor degree, with honors, from the University of Puerto Rico, School of Law. Prior to this, she received a Bachelor of Arts degree with concentration in Political Science, also with honors, from the University of Puerto Rico, Rio Piedras Campus. As part of her legal studies, she completed an internship with the Miami-Dade Public Defenders Office, Juvenile Division, and a clinical program with the University of Puerto Rico, School of Law Legal Assistance Clinic, representing indigent criminal defendants.Evelyn was admitted to practice law in Puerto Rico and Florida in 2005. In 2008, she started practicing immigration law. As an immigration attorney, she has represented individuals and businesses at different levels with US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), US consulates and embassies (consular processing of visas), US immigration courts, and Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA).For Evelyn, education is very important and she works to make sure that, in addition to properly representing her clients, she educates them about the legal process and issues involved in their cases. While attending law school, she worked as an English teacher for the Puerto Rico Public Education System. In addition, while in middle and high school, she worked in summer camps assisting teachers in the education of those students that were completing summer courses/camps.
