Maestro Avvocato DAVID BEST Matthew

Matthew David Best was born and raised in Orlando, Florida. Matt completed his undergraduate studies at Florida State University where he obtained his bachelor’s degree in Criminology. Upon graduating from Florida State University, Matt attended Barry University School of Law in Orlando, Florida where he graduated magna cum laude. While in law school, Matt served on the Editorial Board of the Barry Law Review. He also prosecuted criminal cases as a Certified Legal Intern with The Office of the State Attorney for the Ninth Judicial Circuit.Following law school, Matt worked at a plaintiff’s firm where he represented injured clients involved in motor vehicle accidents, medical malpractice, premises liability, slip and falls, and other forms of negligence claims. During that time, Matt recovered millions of dollars for injured clients throughout the State of Florida. Matt then joined one of the largest firms in the country where he represented homeowners in disputes with their own insurance carriers.In 2022, Matt joined the Payne Law where he continues to represent individuals and businesses in property damage disputes with their own insurance carriers over wrongfully denied or underpaid claims. He also represents clients who have been injured through no fault of their own. Matt is very passionate about seeking justice and accountability for his clients who have been wronged by large corporations and insurance companies.Outside of work, Matt enjoys spending time with his wife, Emily, and their two daughters. He also enjoys playing golf, FSU athletics, and spending time with family and friends.
