Maria is originally from Pennsylvania and has lived in the Kansas City area, Missouri, for 21 years. She is the founder of Mid-America Law Firm, LLC, a law firm specializing in disability and guardianship issues related to social security. Maria earned her Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Missouri-Kansas City in 2004. She graduated from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan, in 2008. During her law studies, she worked as a clerk at the Platte County Prosecuting Attorney's Office in Missouri, where she gained extensive legal experience while working towards her degree. After graduation, she worked as an associate at Burnett & Driskill, a local law firm specializing in disability issues, for about a year before founding Mid-America Law Firm, LLC.Maria is licensed to practice before the Western District of Missouri, the Eastern District of Missouri, the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals, the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals, and all Missouri state courts. She is also certified by the Missouri Supreme Court as a Guardian ad Litem in cases involving minors and family matters in Missouri.
