After presenting papers, arguing, and winning his first appeal while still a law student, Jonathan knew that the challenges of appellate litigation awaited him. Thus, in 2007, immediately after graduating and being admitted to the bar, he opened his appellate practice. Since then, he has had the privilege of representing a wide range of clients across the country, including Fortune 500® companies and other businesses in complex and high-stakes litigation, citizens challenging controversial laws, people facing heavy criminal sentences, or involved in heartbreaking family conflicts, and many more.In addition to his practice, Jonathan is active in various professional and civic organizations, including several bar associations and committees at the local, state, and national levels related to appeals.Jonathan was born in 1981 in New Haven, Connecticut, and grew up in Kansas City, Missouri. He holds dual American and Austrian citizenship. He and his wife, Meredith, reside in the Country Club District of Kansas City.
