Erin is an attorney in the Shelbyville office of McNeelyLaw where she primarily focuses on insurance coverage litigation and insurance defense litigation, but her expertise also includes extensive family law experience and experience in foreclosure, eviction, and criminal matters as well. Erin is currently barred in the state of Illinois and Indiana.Erin obtained her J.D. degree from University of Illinois College of Law in 2018. While in law school, she was issued a 711-license and practiced as a student litigator for the Champaign County Prosecutor’s office under the supervision of a practicing attorney. While there she conducted a significant number of petty traffic trials, assisted in DUI cases and trials, and would negotiate with opposing parties and counsel to reach resolutions.After passing the bar in November 2018, she pursued a career in Family Law. Wanting more extensive litigation experience, Erin branched out from Family Law and dove into the world of Foreclosure and Evictions. Practicing Family Law offered the opportunity to gain knowledge in other areas of law that are necessary to properly resolve a family law case. This included areas such as Tax Law, Medicare Law, Pension Law, Retirement Law, Real Estate Law, Contract Law, and many more. Erin has litigated and mediated various types of cases across the state of Illinois in the areas of criminal law, family law, foreclosure, and evictions.In February of 2023, Erin moved from Illinois to Indiana to provide support for her family, be closer to her friends, and to advance her career in accordance with her goals. Throughout her educational and professional experiences, Erin was able to forge strong professional connections and develop her resource network across multiple states.
