Jake primarily practices as a business law attorney, helping his clients transfer and sell property and assets, formalize contractual agreements, and legitimize and protect their businesses. Jake focuses on real estate, construction, and corporate law. Jake is also a certified civil mediator, able to assist clients with business, real estate, and construction disputes.Born and raised just outside of Shelbyville, Jake is a fifth-generation Shelby County resident with deep roots and connections to the community. Jake received his J.D. from Indiana University’s Robert H. McKinney School of Law and earned a certificate in Corporate & Commercial Law. He graduated with honors from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business, earning bachelor’s degrees in Entrepreneurship & Corporate Innovation and Marketing.Outside of the office, Jake renovates, rents, and manages commercial and residential properties, allowing him to understand the real-world challenges associated with running a business and issues that can arise in real estate transactions. In his free time, he enjoys traveling, spending time with family, and exercising.
