Matt Romrell joined McBride and Roberts Attorneys in November 2011. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Romrell had a successful career as an executive in the steel construction industry, including four years as Chief Operating Officer of a steel fabricator and erector in Las Vegas, Nevada. This experience gives Matt unique insight into the employer’s side of worker’s compensation.His motivation to help those who have lost loved ones or who have been injured by other people’s negligence stems from losing his grandfather, who died as a result of hospital staff negligence in Salt Lake City, Utah.Mr. Romrell is currently serving as a Board Member of the Idaho Trial Lawyers Association and is a graduate of the Idaho State Bar’s Idaho Academy of Leadership for Lawyers.While attending law school Mr. Romrell served as the president of the Student Bar Association and as the chair of the Student Media Board. He was also a member of the law school’s traveling trial team.Mr. Romrell spends his free time with his family, playing golf, and enjoying the outdoors. Mr. Romrell is fluent in both Spanish and Portuguese.
