Mr. Niebling earned his B.S.C. degree in accounting at Santa Clara University and his J.D., cum laude, at Creighton University School of Law. Mr. Niebling holds an AV rating by Martindale-Hubbell rating service, has been listed as a Super Lawyer and has been featured as one of Hawaii's best lawyers in trusts and estate by Honolulu Magazine since 2016. He currently serves as a member of the Judiciary’s Committee on the Uniform Probate Code and Probate Court Practices and is a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel. He also serves on the advisory boards for various non-profit organizations and frequently lectures to business groups on estate planning and taxation issues. Most recently, Mr. Niebling spearheaded a group involving estate planning attorneys, bank representatives and other interested parties in revising HRS 509-2 extending the protective benefits of tenancy by the entirety to trusts and testifying before the Hawaii State Legislature in assuring its passage.
