Born and raised in Boise Idaho, I grew up skiing, hunting and fishing in this beautiful state.Although I initially intended to pursue a chemistry degree, early courses in Business Law at Boise State University piqued my interest. I chose to finish my degree at BSU majoring in Business Administration with a minor in French, but started to research law schools around the country.In the later stages of my undergraduate degree, I was in regular communication with my friend, Barry Peters, who became a mentor regarding law school and the legal profession. Prior to my beginning law school, Barry offered me the opportunity to practice with him after law school.After finishing my degree at BSU I worked in commercial construction for a year and married my beautiful wife, Taylor. We moved to Moscow Idaho a few months after we were married to attend law school at The University of Idaho.Because of the job offering I had recieved from Barry, I was able to focus my time in law school on the study of Estate Planning, as I already knew that it would be applicable to my future practice. After graduating from law school, I started to work with Barry. It was wonderful to immediately have the opportunity to begin working with clients, drafting wills, trusts, and probate filings under the guidance of someone with so much experience in the field. In January of 2019, I became a partner with Barry as he began to take on fewer and fewer clients.Now, with Barry retired, Ben Monaghan and I are happy to continue on in the direction he established over his long career. We are proud to offer affordable legal services with a satisfaction guarantee.On a more personal note, I am still living that life that only a place like Idaho can offer (fishing, hunting, backpacking, skiing, golfing, etc.) My wife and I have two beautiful daughters and we love raising them to enjoy these same things about living in Idaho.
