Charles acts on behalf of individuals, local councils, insolvency practitioners and SMEs in the UK and abroad, often tasked with obtaining and enforce judgements against debtors or issuing insolvency proceedings. Charles has been working in his current role since 2013 and has a great amount of experience in debt recovery, commercial litigation and insolvency.Charles works in both the Commercial Litigation and Insolvency teams.Before working in law, Charles gained a degree in accountancy and finance at Hertfordshire University and went on to work in the property industry for several years. He has been working as a paralegal since 2013.He is able to trace debtors and locate their assets, even when very little information is known and provided by the client.He was once instructed by a banking client to recover a substantial sum from an individual, with nothing more that the debtor’s name and email address. Whilst the client was about to give up, Charles located the debtor’s current address and assets worth over £1 million. He subsequently commenced bankruptcy proceedings against the debtor and the debt was settled before the court hearing, leading to a substantial settlement for his client.
