Sultan is the current Managing Partner of K&Co and co-founded the firm in 2018. He is a well-renowned Omani lawyer highly experienced in litigation and dispute resolutions. He is also esteemed in the field of commercial arbitration with specific focus on commercial financial disputes and construction disputes in accordance with FIDIC Contracts and Omani Standard Terms and Conditions issued on 1981 and 2019 Editions. He received his Bachelors from Sultan Qaboos University, specialising in Commercial Law, and his Master’s degree in International Trade Law from the Paris-Descartes University (Paris V). Additionally, Sultan has received qualifications in commercial contracts, financial law and investment from the London School of Economics and Political Science. He excels in analysing legal scripts and his abilities are well-trusted and respected by his clients. Alongside his legal practice, Sultan contributes to a number of scientific researches in the field of commercial arbitration, human trafficking and commercial competition. Notably, his Master’s thesis was in the field of commercial competition and its protection in the European Union and the GCC states. More recently, Sultan handled a multi-million Omani Riyal disputes on Construction, Corporate issues and Shareholders disputes. Sultan handled many Labor disputes for high profile companies. Moreover, Sultan has handled numerous administrative cases in Omani Administrative Courts related to compensations issues often challenging ministerial decisions. Sultan advised many clients on PPPs, joint-ventures, privatization contracts, profit sharing and other complex and sophisticated transactions in different fields.
