After starting his career serving as a combat officer in the South African Navy, Mark has gained over 30 years of business experience at board level in various industries. Mark trained as an accountant at Ernst & Young in Cape Town, South Africa, followed by senior management positions at large South African companies, including those in the financial services, medical insurance and machinery plant hire industries, as well as his own business. Since emigrating to the Isle of Man in 1999, Mark has served at board level in the corporate services and trustee sector, as well as being a business owner and consultant.As well as running his own Isle of Man consultancy business, Mark is currently an executive board member of a corporate service provider licensed by the Isle of Man Financial Services Authority, and has extensive experience in advising start-up businesses, business development and business plan writing, and has provided successful business plans for a number of Kinley Legal’s entrepreneur immigration clients.
