Paul is Managing Partner. He has wide court based experience in commercial litigation and is viewed as one of the most skilled dispute resolution lawyers on the island. Paul specializes in professional negligence claims, particularly relating to financial and investment claims, trust disputes and clinical negligence. Paul is also heavily involved in advising upon and navigating financial regulatory investigations. In relation to contentious work, Paul is regularly instructed in significant disputes (often multi-jurisdictional), particularly acting for insurers and defendants. Paul is also first choice for contentious employment matters locally. In addition, the current regulatory environment has led to an increase in employment related claims, for example directors’ disqualification actions and regulatory issues involving financial institutions and other regulated entities.
