Me Olivier Mingasson, partner at the firm, has been with SCP Les avocats du Thélème since 2012. He primarily practices in commercial litigation, inheritance and co-ownership law, civil litigation, banking and insurance law, business criminal law, real estate law, social security law, personal injury compensation, medical liability, and disciplinary litigation for medical and paramedical professionals (doctors, pharmacists, dentists, nurses, physiotherapists).He holds a Master's degree in Business Law, a Diploma of Legal Advisor (DJCE), and a Master's in Business Law and Taxation (DESS), obtained in 1995 from the Aix-en-Provence Faculty of Law. He studied for one year at University College London (UK) and then worked for two years at Société Générale in Moscow (Russia).Me Mingasson obtained the Certificate of Aptitude for the Legal Profession (CAPA) at the Paris Bar School, where he was a laureate. He was sworn in as a lawyer in 1999 and started his career with a six-year tenure at an American law firm in Paris (Coudert Frères), practicing mergers and acquisitions and international litigation.He then worked for five years at the Soulez Larivière et Associés law firm in Paris, specializing in business criminal law, particularly in the aftermath of major industrial disasters such as plane crashes and factory explosions, as well as commercial litigation.He practiced for three years at the Toulon Bar before joining the Montpellier Bar in 2012.Me Mingasson has represented international companies such as Total, Valeo, Toyota, Safran, insurance companies and their policyholders (Generali, Areas, medical insurers, etc.), banks (Crédit Mutuel, Banque Populaire, Caisse d’Epargne), as well as small and medium-sized enterprises and individuals.He teaches litigation related to inheritances and co-ownership at the Master II in Personal and Family Law and Master II in Notarial Law programs at the University of Montpellier.He works in both French and English.
