Maestro Avvocato ELBASTAWISSY Ahmed

Ahmed is a Partner in the Dispute Resolution Department. He Joined Khodeir & Partners after spending over 15 years in the judiciary.  He started his career as a Corporate Lawyer at BNP Paribas Egypt before venturing into the revered world of the Egyptian Judiciary in 2009.  Ahmed began his judicial journey as a deputy attorney general for 6 years before serving as a judge in the civil and criminal courts.  As a judge in the distinguished Egyptian courts, Ahmed accumulated extensive experience in civil, criminal, and commercial law, ruling over complex cases and resolving intricate disputes among the involved parties.Ahmed also served as an execution judge, managing the civil decision execution process.Committed to legal excellence and to upholding the strictest ethical standards, Ahmed was awarded a scholarship from the “Ecole Nationale de la Magistrature” in France and was successful in completing an internship in the Courts and the Public Prosecution of Bordeaux thus gaining valuable insight into the French judicial system and enriching his international experience.Ahmed is a graduate of the French department at the University of Ain Shams in cooperation with the University of Lyon-Jean-Moulin. He earned his master’s degree in International Human Rights Law, International Humanitarian Law, and International Criminal Law from Paris-Pantheon-Assas University. Ahmed oversees complex litigations which KP is involved in as well as invoking his negotiation expertise as and when needed.
