Gina You, B. Sc. (with honors), JDImmigration Lawyer - Senior Team LeaderGina You is an immigration lawyer and team leader at Matkowsky Immigration Law. She earned her Juris Doctor from Windsor Law School and her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Toronto. During her studies at Windsor Law, Gina also completed a semester abroad at the University of Mannheim in Germany.Gina assists clients with all immigration matters, including initial and previously refused temporary resident visas, study permits, work permits with and without a Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA), Express Entry applications, spousal sponsorship applications, inadmissibility due to criminal and medical reasons, and issues related to misrepresentation. She works with both individual clients and multinational corporations and often represents clients in complex cases before the Immigration Appeal Division (IAD) and the Federal Court.Having witnessed her parents navigate the Canadian immigration system as a child, Gina is keenly aware of the challenges and frustrations involved in the settlement process. As a result, she is dedicated and determined to assist all clients in their efforts to settle in Canada to the best of her ability.Gina is fluent in both English and Korean.
