John Matkowsky, CRIC, CIM, MFin, BCOMManaging Partner and Immigration ConsultantJohn is one of the founding partners of Matkowsky Immigration and practices in all areas of immigration law, with a particular focus on the most complex immigration cases. He is a licensed senior immigration consultant and a full member of the CICC. John holds a Master’s in Applied Finance from Macquarie University, a Bachelor of Commerce (with honors) from Queen’s University, and is a Chartered Investment Manager.Early in his career, John worked in financial markets as a Chartered Investment Manager and trader for major Canadian banks and private family trusts. He transitioned from helping individuals and families manage their investments to assisting with immigration to Canada through investor and business immigration programs. Today, John practices in all areas of immigration law, helping clients settle in Canada.John has lived in New York, Indonesia, Australia, and Hong Kong and has personally faced numerous immigration challenges, which led him to pursue a career in immigration law.
