Lilit Izakelian earned an honors degree in Psychology from York University in 2007. In 2011, she graduated with a law degree from the University of Windsor. During her studies at Windsor, Lilit volunteered at the Community Legal Aid clinic, which provided legal assistance to low-income members of the community and to University of Windsor students.Lilit completed her articles at a criminal law firm in Toronto. She was called to the Ontario Bar in 2012. Shortly thereafter, she worked as an associate lawyer at another criminal law firm in Toronto before joining Caramanna Friedberg LLP in 2016.Lilit Izakelian has conducted trials before the Ontario Court of Justice as well as the Superior Court of Justice. She has exclusive experience practicing criminal law, with a focus on offenses related to driving under the influence of alcohol, drugs, firearms, and assault.Lilit Izakelian is a member of the Law Society of Ontario and the Criminal Lawyers' Association.
