Maestro Avvocato THIBOUTOT Gabrielle

Ms. Gabrielle Thiboutot has been a member of the Quebec Bar since 2022. Holding a degree in civil law and a bachelor's degree in social sciences with a specialization in international development and globalization, she graduated with honors from the University of Ottawa. Ms. Thiboutot always knew she would practice immigration law and began her career in a large law firm, followed by a boutique firm. Before joining our team, she primarily practiced economic immigration law, and her pro bono projects led her to work in humanitarian immigration law.Since 2023, she has been a member of the Board of Directors of the AQAADI (Quebec Association of Immigration Lawyers) and is involved in several committees. She is also a member of the Board of Directors of Pour les Réfugiés, where she leads the Horizons de Résilience initiative, which helps Afghan women come to study in Canada. Ms. Thiboutot also coaches the University of Ottawa's moot court team for the 2025 Immigration, Refugee, and Citizenship Law Moot, after her team won the 2024 competition.Fluent in both French and English, and having traveled to South America, Asia, the Middle East, and Europe, she has had the opportunity to observe diverse cultural realities and enrich herself through these experiences. This translates into a human-centered approach to immigration law, where her desire to find solutions for her clients intersects with creativity and innovation to navigate the complexity of current laws and regulations.
