Zied has worked for an immigration consultancy firm as an immigration technician since 2005. He joined the Bertrand Deslauriers Processing Group in August 2015. Zied's responsibility is to guide skilled workers, students, and temporary workers through the various procedures of Quebec's immigration programs, as well as family reunification and citizenship applications. He assists applicants in processing their respective applications, ensuring that no detail is overlooked. He handles all aspects of the Quebec Selection Certificates with the MIDI (Quebec's immigration department) and, subsequently, with Immigration Canada for obtaining the permanent residence visa. He follows up with immigration authorities and keeps clients informed about the status of their applications. Zied is fluent in English, French, Arabic, and Spanish, which greatly facilitates communication with the many clients whose first language is one of these languages.
