Nora Wouters is a partner in corporate finance at Dentons' Brussels office. She advises clients on a wide range of private and public corporate finance transactions.Nora has advised national governments, clearing houses, retail and investment banks, investment funds, asset managers, fund service providers, brokerage firms, and investment companies on all aspects of financial services regulation, securities laws, and capital markets.Nora has extensive experience in advising on complex international restructurings of corporate groups. She is appointed as a liquidator for Belgian companies and frequently acts as a trusted advisor to foreign restructuring and recovery specialists during cross-border group restructurings.Since 2010, she has been an expert for the European Commission on the reform of European insolvency and restructuring frameworks as part of the implementation of the European Union's capital markets action plan.
