Etienne Kairis has more than 20 years of experience in commercial law, particularly in distribution law, fair trading law, intellectual property law, and information technology law. He has developed a particular expertise and reputation in the automotive sector, especially regarding the organization, management, and restructuring of distribution networks in Belgium. Etienne has also gained extensive experience in the development and implementation of national and international intellectual property protection strategies (protection of trademarks, patents, and copyrights).Etienne is the author of various publications in commercial law and regularly participates in seminars on these subjects.Etienne holds a Master’s degree in law from the University of Leuven (KU Leuven 1998) and an LL.M. in intellectual property law (Intellectuele Rechten/Droits intellectuels), jointly organized by the University of Leuven and the University of Brussels (KUL – HUB-KAHO 2001).Etienne is a member of the Brussels Bar. He joined Liedekerke as a partner in January 2014.
