With nearly 30 years of litigation experience, Hans represents companies and their executives in criminal matters before Belgian courts, including the Court of Cassation and the European Court of Human Rights. He also pleads before civil courts, particularly in cases at the intersection of criminal and civil law. Additionally, he has extensive experience in internal fraud cases and regularly assists high-profile clients in sensitive and highly confidential matters involving cybercrime.In addition to his work for clients, Hans is the author of numerous articles on developments in business criminal law and criminal procedural law. He is also a frequent guest speaker at seminars and conferences. Hans is regularly ranked among the top specialists in business criminal law by Chambers and Partners and Legal 500.Hans passed the professional competence examination organized by the Supreme Court Bar Association.
