Evelyne Ameye is a lawyer at the Brussels Bar and the Madrid Bar. She has been recognized in the Spain – Competition Law and EU section of Chambers & Partners Europe since 2015. She practices in English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, and Dutch.Her areas of expertise include merger control procedures (mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures, including multi-jurisdictional notifications) and anti-trust investigations (restrictive agreements and practices: cartels, abuse of dominant position, parallel imports, distribution, licensing, co-promotion, co-marketing, R&D, specialization, information exchange, outsourcing) before the European Commission and national competition authorities. She also advises on state aid, civil procedures for damages arising from anti-trust violations, and nuclear energy law.She is a member of the International Competition Network (ICN), the Spanish Association of Competition Law (AEDC), the Board of Directors of the International Nuclear Law Association (INLA), and serves as the Non-Governmental Advisor to the Turkish Competition Authority. She publishes on competition law and nuclear energy law and frequently teaches as an ad hoc professor in the Master's programs of several Spanish universities.
