Bart Vandereeckt (b. 1971), partner, advises clients on a wide range of contractual matters, including sales, distribution, agency, franchising, commercial cooperation, R&D, joint production agreements, and technology transfer agreements. He also handles litigation on all aspects of these issues. Bart has extensive experience in all areas of intellectual property law, including patents, trademarks, copyrights, and design rights. He advises clients on IT, e-commerce, privacy, and market practices.Bart Vandereeckt was an associate at Liedekerke Wolters Waelbroeck Kirkpatrick from 1996 to 2009 and a partner at Taylor Wessing from 2009 to 2011. He obtained his law degree from Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (1995) and completed a DEA in European Community Law at CERIC, Aix-Marseille III (1996). He is a member of the Benelux Association for Trademark and Design Law, the International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property, the International Trademark Association, and the Licensing Executives Society.
