Kristin strives for excellence in every endeavor she undertakes. Once she determines, through rational and reasonable analysis, that an outcome is to be achieved, she methodically and zealously pursues it until it is secured. Having determined that she was going to be an Attorney-at-Law from a tender age, Kristin strove for excellence throughout every course of study until this was achieved. Since being admitted to practice law in Barbados she has gained substantial experience in a number of areas including Criminal Law, Personal Injury, Employment Law, Contract Enforcement, Debt Collection and Civil Litigation. During her career she has been driven by a pure and unadulterated love of the law, a deep desire to stamp out injustice and a need to ensure that persons secure that to which they are entitled. This has led her to represent clients’ interests successfully and without fear or favour in the Magistrate’s Court, High Court, Court of Appeal and even the Caribbean Court of Justice.Kristin is guided by the view that a true advocate must appreciate varied perspectives and needs and can only do so by seeking out and drawing on varied experiences. Thus, she has broadened the scope of her understanding by being:The Chairman of a Severance Payments Tribunal,A Member and the Honorary Secretary of the Barbados Bar Association,A Tutor in the Faculty of Law at the University of the West Indies,An International Member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (England), and (even)A competitor in the sport of weightlifting for Barbados at the Central American and Caribbean Games and the Commonwealth Games.Though law is often said to be a jealous mistress, Kristin still makes time to exercise, watch NBA Basketball, movies and television and spend time with family and friends.MEMBERSHIPS:The Barbados Bar AssociationAssociation of Personal Injury Lawyers (International Member)
