S. KROGMEIER Stephen

Stephen S. Krogmeier strives to understand his clients' needs and find practical solutions.

As an attorney, Stephen clerked for the Missouri Court of Appeals, Western District, and has served individual and commercial clients in a variety of areas and courts. He is particularly proud of his experience as a Special Assistant Attorney General with the Missouri Department of Revenue. There, he represented the Director in multi-million-dollar transactional tax litigation and argued complex cases against some of the nation’s top law firms.

Stephen brings his considerable research and drafting skills to Sader Law Firm, LLC, where he focuses on complex issues related to commercial and bankruptcy litigation, appellate work, and post-judgment matters. In 2024, he was recognized by The Best Lawyers in America: Ones to Watch as a promising practitioner in Litigation - Bankruptcy in Kansas City, Missouri.

Stephen, who grew up in St. Charles, Missouri, moved to Kansas City to attend Rockhurst University in 2009. There, he earned a bachelor's degree in physics and a bachelor's degree in English. In 2013, he decided to stay in Kansas City to pursue his legal studies at the University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC).

At UMKC, Stephen focused on learning skills most beneficial to commercial and professional clients. In 2014 and 2015, he played a key role in helping UMKC win championships in negotiation and contract drafting competitions. He graduated with honors the following year, earning his Juris Doctor.

In his free time, Stephen enjoys attending car shows and supporting local artists.
