Peter Blake-Turner is the senior partner, and a highly experienced lawyer in a variety of areas of law.

Peter has steered many clients to success in the Court of Appeal from Wallersteiner v Moir in 1974, which concerned piercing the corporate veil, through Clegg –v- Andersson in 2003 which established the time when a purchaser of shoddy goods could reject to Beaumont and O’Neill –v- Ferrer in 2016, when the Court of Appeal confirmed that claimants injured as a result of their own criminal activities could not recover damages.
Aside from Dispute Resolution, Peter Blake-Turner has a long history of corporate and commercial work in:-

• Insolvency related transactions

• Restructuring

• Angel Investment

Peter recently retired as chairman of a small insurance company and a director of a Lloyds brokerage, but remains authorised by the PRA and the FCA and has recently accepted a non-executive directorship with a niche City brokerage. Peter retains strong interests in the Financial Services Market, having drafted the Financial Services Act for a small kingdom in the Himalayas.

Working from heart of London in Fenchurch Street, Peter’s recent work also includes providing high level advice to the board of an international privately owned company, and in particular acting for the majority shareholders of that company.
