GRIMSON Chris

Chris is an experienced Advocate in our litigation team whose specialist areas of work include personal injury, employment law, property disputes, and consumer litigation.

He joined MannBenham in 2019, a move that has significantly strengthened our capability in areas such as personal injury and employment. On the personal injury side Chris has a superb track record of securing big recoveries for his clients in claims against various companies, organizations, and government bodies, with many of the cases he has worked on setting new precedents in the Isle of Man. Likewise, on the employment side, Chris has enjoyed a lot of success, acting for both claimants and defendants in various cases.

He has long-standing links with many trade unions and legal expenses insurers and prior to joining Mann Benham Chris spent much of the previous 20 years providing their members and policyholders with advice and representation in all manner of disputes.

Chris worked as a litigation clerk/paralegal from 1988 before being called to the Manx Bar in 2012, and has been recognised by the Legal 500 as a ‘Recommended Lawyer‘ for dispute resolution matters.
