COSTAIN Ruth

Ruth is a Senior Associate within the dispute resolution department.  She has appeared before all levels of the Isle of Man High Court and has a diverse range of experience in civil, commercial and public law litigation including:

• commercial disputes
• applications for injunctive relief
• regulatory matters
• personal injury, professional negligence and medical negligence
• human rights
• doleance claims

Ruth also has experience of advising in bankruptcy and liquidation matters, in particular in respect of recognition of foreign office holders and enforcement of foreign judgments.

Ruth has a Master of Laws degree from BPP University in the Law relating to Fraud and Financial Crime and has an extensive background in offshore life assurance
