Jo is a Partner in the Commercial Law and Dispute Resolution department.

Areas of Specialization
Jo has a particular focus on:

• dispute resolution;
• drafting (inter)national commercial contracts;
• insurance disputes or disputes between or within companies.

Expertise and Experience
Jo aims to prevent and resolve commercial disputes by drafting effective contracts or obtaining their enforcement in court.

He specializes in commercial law and business disputes and has extensive experience representing clients in strategically significant litigation. He assists clients with all contentious matters, including disputes related to distribution, product liability, consumer protection, and professional liability.

Education
Jo obtained his law degree in 2004 from the Catholic University of Leuven (KUL). In 2005, he earned a DES in Economic Law from the Free University of Brussels (ULB) and was admitted to the Brussels Bar the same year. He is now a member of the Brussels and Limburg Bars and can appear before all Belgian courts.

Publications and Conferences
Jo has published several articles and regularly speaks at internal and external seminars on topics such as shareholder disputes, director liability, managing international contracts, protecting know-how and trade secrets, and distribution law.
