AKINULI Tokunbo

TOKUNBO is a Legal Practitioner of 22 years having qualified for the Nigerian Bar in 1993. His speciality is in the area of energy, natural resources and oil & gas. His work involves a broad range of corporate & commercial advisory services in oil and gas contracting focusing on negotiating and structuring energy and oil and gas agreements, advising on contractual risk management amongst various contracting parties, acquisition and disposal of upstream oil and gas interests, dispute resolution and management, renewable energy, and advising on legal and regulatory compliance on all energy-related transactions.

Mr Tokunbo also possesses expertise in environmental aspects and health and safety in the oil and gas sector. He is the current secretary to the International Association Of Drilling Contractors (Nigerian Chapter ) and has acted as counsel and advisor to several leading Banks over his 21-year career. Mr Akinuli considers himself first and foremost a corporate attorney or solicitor and revels in the realms of banking and finance, corporate and commercial and taxation law. Toks has had the privilege of acting as legal advisor to several high profile companies from Nigeria, the U.K, China and the USA. His experience is far-ranging and his scope is eclectic.
