Melissa is a senior attorney specializing in U.S. immigration law and serves as a team lead at Matkowsky Immigration Law. Prior to joining the firm, she worked at one of the largest U.S. immigration law firms and at a Big Four accounting firm, where she provided immigration solutions to large multinational companies for their employees' immigration needs.

Melissa has extensive experience in employment-based immigration, particularly in the areas of work permit applications for non-immigrants, immigrants, PERM labor certification applications, and family-based immigration petitions. She also assists with issues related to waivers and inadmissibility.

Melissa earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Houston Christian University and her Juris Doctor from the Thurgood Marshall School of Law in Houston, Texas. She is a member of the Texas State Bar and the American Immigration Lawyers Association.
