An Weyn primarily focuses on advising family businesses through a multidisciplinary tax and legal approach.
She provides clients with guidance on transferring the family holding company or other elements of their assets to the next generation (estate planning) and advises family businesses on tax matters, particularly corporate tax.
An also has strong expertise in cross-border taxation. Her knowledge of French tax law, in particular, allows her to better advise and assist clients—both individuals and companies—in Franco-Belgian matters. She also advises on the tax implications of migration to or from Belgium.
An is listed in the Legal 500 directory as a Next Generation Lawyer.
She holds a law degree from KU Leuven (2000) and a specialized degree in taxation from the Fiscale Hogeschool (2002).
She has also served as an assistant in the Tax Law Department at KU Leuven.
