Your time is valuable. Ours too. For an initial consultation, which lasts between 50 - 60 minutes, we charge EUR 300 plus VAT. We then discuss together what costs you will incur if you hire us. There are different options for lawyers to bill. It is important to us to provide you with full cost transparency. We record all of our services in detail and can provide you with information at any time about the costs incurred. Depending on the matter in which you require our support, we charge either an hourly rate, according to the Lawyers' Tariff Act or, for clearly defined services, a flat rate agreed in advance.

BILLING ACCORDING TO HOURLY RATE

In most cases, we charge an hourly rate. This means that we keep a detailed record of the services we provide for you and then invoice you for the time we spent representing you. Of course, you will receive a detailed list of our services.

BILLING ACCORDING TO TARIF

The Lawyers' Tariff Act (RATG) and the General Fee Criteria for Lawyers (AHK) set specific tariffs/amounts for certain services. These amounts depend on the value in dispute. The value in dispute can, for example, be the amount that is claimed in the proceedings - in other words, "what it is about".

In a contentious civil case, the reimbursement of costs in the case is calculated in exactly the same way. To put it very simply, if you win a case, your opponent has to cover your own costs. Note: It also means that if you lose a case, you not only have to pay your own legal costs, but also those of your opponent.

BILLING WITH A FLAT RATE

If the services are clearly defined in advance, we can also offer a flat rate. This way, you can plan in advance what costs you will incur.
