Master Lawyer Anna BAUBOCK

Anna is a senior editor who joined the The Legal 500 in 2012. After almost a decade of overseeing the Deutschland rankings, she spent two years taking on an additional role as The Legal 500 United States editor, and in 2023 broadened her Research Director position to cover not only Germany but the DACH region more broadly, as well as Benelux – as part of The Legal 500 EMEA guide. In 2021, she also launched The Legal 500’s Global Green Guide examining the legal sector’s engagement with sustainability and climate action.Before her career at The Legal 500, she spent some years in academic research: After an initial degree in Anthropology, she continued her studies with an MA in Spanish, Portuguese and Latin American Cultural Studies and an MSc in Migration, Mobility and Development. At the same time, she completed internships at various NGOs and an international think tank, and worked as a market and policy researcher for a research centre specialising in Japanese clients.Outside of work, she unwinds with yoga, running and roller derby, and spends a lot of time with her greyhound, escaping into nature as much as possible and travelling when time allows
