Master Lawyer Balša STEVANOVIĆ

Professional Career and EducationBalša Stevanović works in the fields of Corporate and Business Law, Energy Law, Competition Law, and Private International Law. He also conducts research and writes on topics related to transnational legal processes, international commercial arbitration, negotiation, and legal theory.He holds a Law degree (LLB) from the Faculty of Law, University of Belgrade, and a degree in International Relations from the University of London program (BSc) – London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). As a scholarship recipient at the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies (IHEID) in Geneva, he earned a Master's degree in International Law (MA) in Switzerland after two years of study, which included an exchange semester in the United States as part of the Master of American Law program (LLM in American Law) at Boston University School of Law. He also obtained an LLM in Law from the Faculty of Law, University of Belgrade.Balša completed a diplomatic internship in New York at the Permanent Mission of Serbia to the United Nations. During his studies, he was a member and associate of the Serbian United Nations Association. He was also part of the University of Belgrade team participating in the prestigious Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition. He received a scholarship from the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) and attended the Summer University on the European System of Human Rights Protection organized by the European University Viadrina, as well as the Summer University on the European Union and Legal Reform organized by Johns Hopkins University and its partners.During his Master's studies in Switzerland, Balša interned in International Investment Law at a law firm in Geneva. While in Boston, he worked on the Pro Bono Legal Services Project at Project Citizenship, for which he was recognized by Boston University School of Law.
