T. Abrazaldo Jeffrey Roger

Jeffrey is an Associate at Puyat Jacinto Santos (PJS) Law.

He is an active member of the Mergers and Acquisitions Practice Group of the Firm, and is also involved in Dispute Resolution, and Labor and Employment.

He received his Juris Doctor from the Ateneo de Manila Law School, where he was an active member of the Ateneo Society of International Law and competed in the 2020 Vis East International Commercial Arbitration Moot Court Competition as the team captain of the Ateneo contingent. He was admitted to the Bar in 2023.

Experience

• Large foreign conglomerate: Assisted in its participation in and purchase of a domestic renewable energy company’s initial public offer (“IPO”).

• Leading renewable energy developer: Assisting in their acquisition of various parcels of land for their renewable energy projects. Work includes due diligence review of target sites, and preparation of reports relating to key issues and risk management.

• Various clients: Assisted renewable energy developers in their participation in the General Energy Auction-2. Work included preparation and review of bid documents, and coordination with relevant government agencies.

• Various clients: Advised various international clients in relation to their entry into the Philippine Market, specifically regarding their corporate structure vis-à-vis their choice of business vehicle, and regulatory compliance. Work included preparation of advisory memoranda, and coordination with foreign counsels.

• Confidential client: Acting as assistant corporate secretary. Work includes preparation of various corporate documents as well as coordination with the Philippines Securities and Exchange Commission for regulatory compliance.

• Various clients: Represents various clients in formal litigation for civil and criminal cases, as well as special proceedings. Work includes preparation and review of various pleadings and court submissions, and appearance in court for hearings.

• Various clients: Assisted various clients in applying for reacquisition/retention of Philippine Citizenship. Work included preparation and review of application requirements, and coordination with the Bureau of Immigration

• Various clients: Acting as legal adviser to domestic and international companies in relation to their compliance with Philippine Labor Laws. Work includes drafting and negotiation of employment and consultancy contracts, dispute resolution before administrative bodies, and general advisory services.
