Frederik has over 20 years of experience specializing in contract law, construction law, public procurement, and tendering processes in the construction and civil engineering sectors, as well as urban planning and environmental law. He is also an expert in dispute resolution and frequently handles cases in his areas of specialization, including before construction arbitration boards and courts.
Frederik joined Winsløw as a partner in the spring of 2024, coming from Gangsted Advokatfirma. His expertise includes advising on construction projects, including issues related to delays, cost overruns, and deficiencies. He also provides guidance on contract negotiation, tender strategy, and the organization of tender documents, as well as defining selection and award criteria. He has significant experience in urban planning and environmental law, including working with permits, prohibitions, complaints, and cases before the Urban Planning Complaints Commission, the Environmental and Food Complaints Commission, and courts.
His areas of legal expertise also extend to arbitration strategy and handling complex legal disputes.
Frederik holds a Master's degree in law from the University of Copenhagen (2003) and has had the right to appear before the High Court since 2010. He was previously an external lecturer in civil procedure at the University of Copenhagen and regularly teaches topics related to construction law and dispute resolution. He is also the author of Syn og skøn i praksis (Polyteknisk Forlag, 2016).
