GOLDSTEIN Leanne

Leanne Goldstein is a lawyer at Share Lawyers*. Leanne was called to the Ontario Bar in 2002. For over two decades, Leanne has tirelessly advocated for individuals whose benefits have been unjustly denied by insurance companies. Leanne has extensive litigation experience before various tribunals and has participated as a lawyer in hundreds of mediations. Prior to 2002, Leanne practiced at a large international law firm. After 2002, she worked at one of the top ten personal injury law firms in Ontario before dedicating the next 18 years to representing individuals whose long-term disability benefits were denied. Leanne regularly gives presentations to professional organizations, including the long-term disability section of the Ontario Trial Lawyers' Association. Leanne is the author of several published articles and a book chapter on serious illnesses.

Leanne is a mentor for the legal practice program at Ryerson University (TMU), a board member of Peel Family Services, volunteers for charitable causes related to disability, and provides pro bono legal training and services to community legal clinics.
