Me Benoît BessetteMe Benoît Bessette holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from the University of Sherbrooke, obtained in 2011. He furthered his education by earning an MBA in Sports Management from the Real Madrid International School at the Universidad Europea in Spain in 2013. In 2012, Benoît participated in the European Private Law program at the University of Salzburg (Austria). He also participated in the International School for Young Entrepreneurs program in Tunisia in 2013.Since 2019, he has been a member of the Quebec Bar, the Quebec Association of Immigration Lawyers (AQAADI), and the Canadian Association of Refugee Lawyers (ACAADR).In 2019, Me Bessette served as the Legal and Institutional Affairs Coordinator for the Local Organizing Committee of the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup in France. Prior to this, he collaborated on numerous international sports events, including the 2014 Central American and Caribbean Games in Veracruz (Mexico), the 2015 Pan American Games in Toronto, UEFA EURO 2016 (France), and five IIHF World Ice Hockey Championships. He also worked at the 2014 Sochi Olympics, the 2016 Rio Olympics, the 2018 PyeongChang Olympics, the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, and the 2022 Beijing Olympics.A passionate cyclist, Me Bessette has cycled 30,000 kilometers across 35 countries. He can speak with you about cycling or immigration in French, English, or Spanish.
