Jan specializes in environmental law in its broadest sense, including regulatory law (chemicals, electrical devices, hazardous substances, etc.), climate change, emission rights and renewable energy, EIA, waste and soil management, water, air, and nature conservation at all levels (international, European, and Belgian). He also has extensive expertise in project development, permitting, urban planning and zoning, expropriation, and nuclear law.Jan has significant experience drafting, amending, and interpreting laws and regulations for public authorities at the federal and regional levels.
